For band leaders and librarians

Stop chasing PDFs

Players forget to import the new chart, and someone always turns up with last month's version. Codapad fixes that with automatic sync.

Automatic sync

Every player's library syncs by itself

Upload a chart, replace a part or change a setlist, and Codapad syncs it to every member's device automatically. No emails, no reminders, nobody has to remember to import anything.

The music is stored on each device, so it opens offline at the gig.

Upload a part once

It syncs automatically to every member who reads that part. Everyone turns up with it on their device, ready to play.

Fix it once

Replace a part with a corrected one and the fix syncs to every device. Nobody plays from the old copy.

Change the set once

Build Friday's set, reorder it the night before, and the new order syncs to the whole band. Guests — deps, subs, the singer for one night — see only the setlist they're on.

Bands are the paid layer, with plans sized by storage, members, guests and devices. Your own library costs nothing and needs no account, forever.

The reader

Built to be read from on stage

Fast, offline, and out of your way. Everything below works with no account, on a library that never leaves your device.

Three reading modes

Scroll, full page, or half page — your call, per chart

Scroll through a chart like a long roll of paper. Turn whole pages. Or split the screen and turn half a page at a time, so the next line is always already there when you reach it.

Pick a default, override it for the charts that need it, and the app remembers.

Automatic clean-up

Crooked, grey, photocopied scans come out straight and black on white

One tap straightens the page, whitens the background, sharpens the ink and trims the margins so the music fills the screen. Coloured pencil marks survive.

Codapad suggests it on the charts that need it and leaves clean ones alone. Compare before and after and keep whichever reads better.

Bands

Nothing to import, nothing to forget

Your parts and setlists sync to your device automatically. Open the app, pick your part and play.

Switch parts

Trumpet 2 tonight? Two taps, same chart

You see every part you've been given and nothing else. Change part without leaving the chart — the page you were on stays put.

Dep for another section, read from the score, double on a second instrument: all one control.

Your bands, your library

Play in as many bands as you like — each one keeps its own library

Your personal library, the big band and the quartet are separate spaces in the same app. Switch between them from the drawer; nothing leaks from one to another.

Join a band by email invite or by scanning the admin's QR code at rehearsal. Leave one, and only that library goes.
